Terms of Service & Liability Waiver

1. Business Information
These Terms of Service are entered into between you and Mason Dixon Specialized Services LLC, a Maryland limited liability company, doing business as Mason Dixon Firearms Training (collectively, the "Company"). The Company provides firearms education, safety instruction, permit-related training, and related services. All references to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the Company.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, registering for any course, attending training, or purchasing any service offered by the Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and the Liability Waiver contained herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Company’s services.
3. Eligibility & Legal Compliance
Participation in firearms training requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. You represent and warrant that you are legally eligible to possess and handle firearms under Maryland and federal law, meet any age or course-specific requirements, and are not otherwise prohibited from participation. The Company does not provide legal advice regarding firearms ownership or eligibility.
4. Course Registration, Scheduling & Payment
All course registrations are subject to availability and acceptance by the Company. Course dates, times, instructors, locations, and content may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled at the Company’s discretion. Payments are processed through third-party platforms such as Ticket Tailor and associated payment processors. The Company does not store full payment card information.
5. Cancellations, Transfers, Refunds & No-Shows
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all sales are final. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued solely at the Company’s discretion. Course transfers may be permitted if requested in writing at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled course date. Failure to attend a scheduled course without notice constitutes a no-show and results in forfeiture of all fees paid.
6. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
You acknowledge that firearms training involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to property damage, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death. These risks may arise from the use of firearms, ammunition, range conditions, physical activity, actions of other participants, or negligence to the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, you knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assume all such risks and hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Mason Dixon Specialized Services LLC, d/b/a Mason Dixon Firearms Training, its owners, officers, instructors, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation in training activities.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your participation in training, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
8. Code of Conduct & Safety Rules
Participants must follow all instructor directions, safety rules, and range regulations at all times. Unsafe behavior, failure to comply with instructions, possession of prohibited items, intoxication, or disruptive conduct may result in immediate removal from a course without refund. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any individual.
9. Intellectual Property & Training Materials
All website content, course materials, instructional documents, videos, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property are owned by Mason Dixon Specialized Services LLC or licensed to it. No materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Services & Platforms
The Company utilizes third-party platforms for event registration, ticketing, payment processing, and communications. These third parties operate independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or security practices of third-party providers.
11. Privacy & Data Use
Personal information collected in connection with registrations or services is governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. By using the Company’s services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Maryland.
13. Modifications to Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Company’s website. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Entire Agreement & Contact Information
